One of the Coolest Things About Walleye Weekend is That Everyone Can Have Fun

One thing that was cool to see at Walleye Weekend this year was just how much there was for kids and families to do. A lot of people think about the live music, food, and fishing, but there was an entire area dedicated to keeping kids busy throughout the weekend.
One thing that was cool to see at Walleye Weekend this year was just how much there was for kids and families to do. A lot of people think about the live music, food, and fishing, but there was an entire area dedicated to keeping kids busy throughout the weekend.
From the giant sandbox and inflatable village to sports games and the Kids Connection Tent, there seemed to be something for kids of all ages. Families could spend hours in the area without running out of things to do. There were also animal shows, fishing activities, and plenty of hands-on experiences that made it more than just another festival.
It's great to see Walleye Weekend continue to be an event where the whole family can spend the day together. Watching kids run from one activity to the next while parents relax and enjoy everything Lakeside Park has to offer is a big part of what makes the weekend special.
Events like this remind me why Walleye Weekend has been such a Fond du Lac tradition for so many years. It's not just about the music or the food. It's about creating memories for the next generation of kids growing up in our community.
