Original WWI Lot of United States Armed Forces Military Artifacts: One Doughboy Helmet (M1917) and Small Box Respirator (SBR) Gas Mask Carry Kit With Canvas Bag.

Also Included are Two Brass Fittings, Two Cans of Anti-Dimming Composition For Gas Masks, One Wire Cutter Pouch Marked "Long 11-17", One Individual Pay Record Book and Paper Envelope, A Leather Document Wrap Stamped "My Honorable Discharge From The U.S. Service" and Three Postcards Written to Wisconsin Recipients During the Soldier's Service.

The Leather Chin Strap on Helmet is Present but has Begun to Crack With Age. Rust is Present on the Metal Fittings. Please Note, it Appears a Rodent Made A Nest in the Helmet at Some Point in History, so the Fiber Padding of the Helmet is Largely Absent. The Leather and Cord Liner is Present.

The Canvas/Khaki Bag of the SBR has Areas of Staining and Ink Pen Marks Reading "283505" on the Back.
The Metal Container the Gas Mask is Attached to is Green and The Lenses of the Mask are Amber-Colored.

The Wire Cutter Pouch Measures Approx. 9- 1/2" Tall and 2- 3/4" Wide.
