For more than 50 years, a family-owned performance engine shop in Fond du Lac has been fueling a passion for speed, craftsmanship, and community. Founded by Jim Wick and later passed on to his son, Jeff Wick, the business has remained proudly local since day one.

The shop specializes in building and rebuilding high-performance racing engines, with a strong emphasis on Mopar platforms. In addition to engine work, services include nitrous refills, VP Racing Gas distribution, metal fabrication, rear-end assistance, and parts sales. The team is also the inventor of the world-renowned 9co Track Sprayer, a tool used internationally for precision traction compound application. Beyond the shop walls, the Wick family operates its own drag racing program, competing in NHRA, IHRA, and MPSA events. Be sure to check out Jordan Wick Racing.

For those unfamiliar with high-performance engines, the shop works on vehicles that fall outside the ordinary — from classic 1960s muscle cars and restored 1970s wagons to serious race cars built for the track.

What truly sets the shop apart is its hands-on, family-driven approach. Jeff personally speaks with every customer, answers questions, provides accurate quotes and timelines, and is present during dyno testing when engines are put to the test. His wife manages the front office, with the help of close friends who share the same commitment to quality and care.

After more than five decades, the shop continues to serve Fond du Lac and surrounding communities with the same values it was built on — fairness, transparency, and a genuine love for performance.
