There’s a Mother’s Day tradition in Fond du Lac that keeps getting better every year. Tim Wiskow from Whisper Hill Clydesdales Special Needs is bringing back their annual flower sale, now in its 6th year, and it’s happening starting Tuesday, May 5. They’ll be set up on the corner lot next to 347 West Johnson Street, right across from Hansen’s Badger Tire. If you’ve been before, you already know. If you haven’t, it’s worth stopping by.
They’ll have a full selection of flowers along with some solid Mother’s Day gift ideas, but everything is limited. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. It’s one of those setups where you don’t want to wait until the last minute. On top of that, it’s all for a good cause. The money raised helps the farm get through the slower winter months, covering expenses when things aren’t as active, and also helps fund new equipment and anything else they need to keep things running.
More than anything, this fundraiser helps them keep doing what they do. Whisper Hill Clydesdales Special Needs is all about making an impact and creating real moments for people, and this sale plays a big role in that. Like Tim said, it’s about continuing to grow their mission and “changing lives one smile at a time.” Big shoutout to Sam Meyer for donating the space again this year. If you can, stop down, grab some flowers, and support something local that actually matters.
