Fondy FallToberFest Returns to Fond du Lac With Giant Pumpkins, Fall Fun & More!

Fondy FallToberFest returns to Oven Island on October 10 with a full day of free fall fun, including pumpkin launching, wagon rides, live music, food trucks, kids activities and Oktoberfest traditions. The Great Pumpkin Weigh Off is also back, with last year’s 2,383-pound winner looking to be surpassed and a $1,000 bonus for anyone who breaks Wisconsin’s 2,551-pound record.

Fondy FallToberFest and The Great Pumpkin Weigh Off are coming back to Fond du Lac! I’ve never actually been to this event before, but after looking into everything they have going on, I’d definitely love to check it out this year.

It all takes place Saturday, October 10th at Oven Island in Lakeside Park. It’s completely FREE and they have a TON going on throughout the day. Pumpkin launching, horse-drawn wagon rides, live music, food trucks, kids activities, Oktoberfest traditions, a biergarten and a whole lot more.

One of the coolest parts has to be The Great Pumpkin Weigh Off. Last year’s winning pumpkin weighed a crazy 2,383 pounds! This year they’re hoping someone could possibly break the Wisconsin state record of 2,551 pounds. They’re even offering an extra $1,000 bonus if someone does it. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a 2,000+ pound pumpkin in person, so that alone would be pretty cool to see.

If you’re looking for something fun to do around Fond du Lac this fall, Fondy FallToberFest sounds like it’s worth checking out! The main festival runs from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and admission is free. I might have to make my way down there this year and see what it’s all about!
