Making a Difference in Fond du Lac: Kristin Santini
by Shane Michael · 7/4/2026

One thing I've noticed about Kristin is she really loves this city. Whether she's helping organize the Farmers Market, promoting local events through DFP, co-hosting I Love FDL Live with me every Monday morning, or writing for the Fondy 6 Pack each week
If you've been following I Love FDL Live on Monday mornings or reading the Fondy 6 Pack every week, you've definitely seen Kristin Santini around. She does a lot behind the scenes for our community, and I've really enjoyed getting to know her as my friend and someone who truly cares about Fond du Lac. She's always looking for ways to help promote local businesses, events, and everything that makes our city a great place to live.
Kristin has lived in Fond du Lac her entire life and has never called anywhere else home. She's worked at DFP for the past three years, where she gets to help promote the city she grew up in. If you've ever been to the Downtown Fond du Lac Farmers Market on a Saturday morning, chances are you've seen Kristin there too. She's a big part of helping get everything organized and ready each week, making sure one of Fond du Lac's favorite summer traditions runs smoothly. Before working at DFP, she owned two businesses on Main Street and even owned Annabel's from 1992 to 1995. She also has 21 years with Spectrum, where she says she's had the opportunity to learn from some incredible leaders.
Family is a huge part of Kristin's life. She has three adult kids, with two still living here in Fond du Lac and one in Georgia. She's also a proud grandma to her 13-year-old grandson, Adam. Outside of work, she loves traveling and checking out new places, shopping (she'll tell you she's really good at spending money), hiking, cooking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
One thing I've noticed about Kristin is she really loves this city. Whether she's helping organize the Farmers Market, promoting local events through DFP, co-hosting I Love FDL Live with me every Monday morning, or writing for the Fondy 6 Pack each week, she's always finding another way to give back. People like Kristin are a big reason why there's always something happening around Fond du Lac, and we're lucky to have her helping make it all happen.
