Warm Up in Downtown Fondy: The Soup Walk Is Back!
by ShaneRich · 12/7/2025
There’s just something special about Downtown Fondy in the winter. The snow on Main Street, the lights in the shop windows, and that little buzz you feel when you know you’re supporting the community you love. And for me… there’s no better excuse to wander downtown than the Downtown Fond du Lac Soup
There’s just something special about Downtown Fondy in the winter. The snow on Main Street, the lights in the shop windows, and that little buzz you feel when you know you’re supporting the community you love. And for me… there’s no better excuse to wander downtown than the Downtown Fond du Lac Soup Walk, happening Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 11AM–3PM. A whole afternoon of sampling soups while popping into some of my favorite spots? Count me in!
Some of the participating businesses this year are places you’ll definitely recognize: 18 Hands Ale Haus, LaBelle, Main Pub, CC’s Chocolates, and many other businesses will all be serving up their best. I’m already imagining the variety: creamy, cheesy, savory, maybe a little spicy. Each spot with their own flavor and personality. It’s the perfect way to discover something new… or rediscover the comfort foods you already love.
But more than the soups, this event is about getting out and enjoying Fondy in its coziest season. Supporting the hard-working small businesses that keep our downtown lively and our bellies full. So grab a ticket, bundle up, bring a friend, and let’s go warm up together one delicious bowl at a time. 😋🍲❤️
