Antique Pressed Steel Model T Auto Touring Trunk Faux Leather Painted Car Chest

An original pressed steel automobile touring trunk dating to approximately 1918–1923. Finished in its original faux leather-grain brown paint with brass-plated locking hardware, steel side carrying handles, and an all-steel body. Commonly referred to by collectors as a Model T era touring trunk, this style was designed for use on the rear luggage rack of early automobiles.

Note, the locking mechanism does not appear to be complete and there is NO key included

Measures approximately 21.5” x 15” x 14” tall

The internal measurements are approximately 20.75” x 13.5” x 11.5” deep (not including the hollow space with the dome lid)

There are a number of small dents scattered, a few scuffs and marks, and other light wear consistent with age and decades of previous use. Please review all photos.
