RARE Vintage 1950s Budweiser Beer On Draught Neon Lighted Bar Sign w/ Scrollwork

Very hard to find, circa mid-1950s Budweiser neon with ornate scrollwork and plastic lighted panels on the top and bottom.

Some age-related wear to the surfaceof the metal scroll work. Light toning on the plastic panels. No breaks, or cracks. Good working condition.

Measure approximately 39” x 19” tall

I am not the original owner of this sign. The previous owner indicated that it may have been repaired at some point. Based on my inspection, the neon tubing appears to be original, while the transformer has been replaced with a newer unit. Please note that there may have been repairs or touch-ups to the neon tubes that are not readily apparent to my eye.

Due to the size and fragile nature of this item, it cannot be shipped via standard carriers such as USPS, FedEx, or UPS. Shipping will be arranged through a third-party white-glove service to ensure safe handling and delivery, which will result in higher shipping costs.

Based on construction and materials, this sign can be dated to the post–World War II era. The use of plastic panels indicates production after the war, while the IBEW union label style present on this piece was introduced in 1953 and remained in use until it was updated in 1971, placing the sign within that range. However, the ornate metal scrollwork frame is more characteristic of earlier postwar design, suggesting a more precise production period in the mid-1950s to early 1960s at the latest
