Vintage 1930s Arcade Mack Fire Hook & Ladder Truck Cast Iron Toy Large

An exceptional, near all-original example of the highly desirable Arcade MACK Hook & Ladder Fire Truck, dating to the 1930s.

This truck retains an outstanding level of originality. The ladders are not original Arcade components, but appear to be period Hubley replacements from a slightly later hook & ladder truck. They fit the Arcade MACK exceptionally well and display beautifully.

The original driver figure is present, along with all original nickel-plated components, which remains in excellent condition with a bright, attractive finish. The original hose is not present.

Condition is excellent overall. The centers of the wheel hubs were repainted at some point during the truck's lifetime. A blacklight inspection also indicates an area of touch-up to the front left engine cowl. Aside from these noted paint touch-ups, the truck presents as a remarkably original example.

Structurally, the toy is outstanding with no chips, cracks, breaks, fractures, or repairs to the cast iron components.
