Vintage 1940s Star Brewing Co Beer Crate Case 12oz Steinie Bottles Lomira Wis WI

This wooden beer crate was most likely manufactured for 12 oz. steinie bottles. It appears an original 24 oz. bottle case (designed to hold 12 bottles) was repurposed by the brewery and cut down for use with steinie bottles, which would explain why the "Lomira, Wis." marking is partially missing.

Condition notes: A small section of one bottom board is missing. The crate is also missing portions of the original tin reinforcing straps along the bottom on both sides. Please review all photos carefully for condition details.
