Vintage Mexican Alpaca Silver Souvenir Tea Spoon w/ Mayan Pyramid – 3.75" – 8.34 Grams
Sold by Brothers Antiques
$4.00
Attractive small vintage spoon made in Mexico and constructed of Alpaca silver, measuring approximately 3.75 inches long and weighing 8.34 grams.
Please note that Alpaca silver is not sterling silver. Despite the traditional use of the word “silver” in its name, Alpaca (also known as nickel silver or German silver) is generally a silver-colored base-metal alloy composed primarily of copper, nickel, and zinc and ordinarily contains no actual silver. By comparison, genuine sterling silver is an alloy containing 92.5% pure silver.
Accordingly, this spoon should not be considered sterling or solid silver, and its estimated actual precious-metal silver content is 0 grams, unless an applied silver-plated surface is present. Any possible plating has not been tested or quantified.
Measures approximately 3.75" long.
Weight: 8.34 grams.
Please review photos closely for markings, design, surface condition, patina, and wear.
