Vintage Will Ross Inc. Hospital Convalescent Tuberculosis Patient Wheel Chair

A unique hospital patient transport chair from the TB era, likely used in hospitals and tuberculosis sanitaria. Made by the Will Ross Inc. of Milwaukee.

Hard rubber casters, fixed armrest, folding foot rest. The chair is also collapsible for more compact storage and transport. A great piece of medical history.

The plywood seat and back exhibit age related wear including finishing loss, scratches, scuffs, edge wear, and veneer loss along one corner and the edges of the seat. The underside shows minor edge, veneer, loss, and exposed plywood, laminations consistent with decades of institutional use. Please review all photos carefully for condition
