Fond du Lac Celebrates Ribbon Cutting For Veterans Memorial Park

Around 200 people gathered today as Fond du Lac County officially celebrated the ribbon cutting for the newly renovated Veterans Memorial Park. After a year of construction, the transformed park now beautifully honors both living and deceased veterans with dedicated military branch pillars and personalized memorial bricks placed along the walls by local families.

Today Fond du Lac County held the ribbon cutting formally opening the newly renovated Veterans Memorial Park. Roughly 200 people were in attendance. After a year of construction the park appearance is completely transformed into a park that clearly honors all veterans, deceased and living.

Each branch of the military is represented in separate pillars. Names of veterans are placed along the walls in separate brinks purchased by families of veterans. Bricks to honor a veteran can still be purchased on the Fond du Lac County webpage.
