Grab Your Bike! The FDL Slow Roll Returns September 9
by Shane Michael · 9/4/2026

The FDL Slow Roll: Bike to the Beats returns September 9, giving riders of all ages and skill levels a free, fun way to explore Fond du Lac by bike. Starting at The Passenger Lounge and guided by Attitude Sports, the slow-paced ride is a great way to enjoy the weather, get moving and spend time with friends and family.
One thing Jaci and I really enjoy doing when the weather is nice is getting out on our bikes. Fond du Lac actually has some really nice places to ride, and it’s one of those simple things you can do together that gets you outside, gets you moving, and doesn’t cost anything. That’s why the FDL Slow Roll is such a cool event to have right here in our community.
The FDL Slow Roll: Bike to the Beats returns Wednesday, September 9 from 5 to 8 p.m. The ride starts at The Passenger Lounge at 105 S. Brooke Street in Fond du Lac and is guided by Attitude Sports. It’s meant to be a fun, social and slow-paced ride through different areas of Fond du Lac, with music along the way. Best of all, it’s free and any bike, any age and any rider level is welcome.
I think events like this are a great way to see Fond du Lac a little differently. When Jaci and I bike, we always seem to notice things around town that you just drive right past in a car. Plus, you’re getting some exercise without it really feeling like exercise. You’re just out riding, enjoying the weather and spending some time together.
If you’ve got a bike sitting in the garage that hasn’t gotten much use this summer, this might be a good excuse to pull it out one more time. Wisconsin gives us a pretty short window to enjoy weather like this, so we might as well take advantage of it while we can. Grab your bike, bring the family or some friends, and enjoy a Wednesday night cruising around Fond du Lac.
