The Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership is entering a new chapter as it begins the search for its next Executive Director. With the current Executive Director preparing for retirement, DFP is looking for a strong, community-minded leader to help guide one of Fond du Lac’s most important organizations into the future. This role isn’t just about management, it’s about caring deeply for downtown and continuing the momentum that’s been built over the years.
The Executive Director serves as the face and driving force behind DFP, working closely with downtown businesses, property owners, volunteers, and community partners. From supporting local businesses and coordinating events to overseeing marketing efforts and daily operations, this position plays a hands-on role in shaping how people experience downtown Fond du Lac every day.
DFP is looking for someone who understands community, collaboration, and what makes downtowns thrive. Experience in economic development, nonprofit leadership, marketing, or event planning is a plus, but passion for the city and the ability to bring people together matter just as much. This is a chance for the right person to make a real, lasting impact where it counts.
Applications are open now, with a deadline of February 15, 2026. For someone who believes in downtown Fond du Lac and wants to help lead it into its next phase of growth, this is an opportunity worth taking seriously.
