Classes are held in small groups at the North Fond du Lac Community Center at 280 Garfield Street N.FDL. Students register in advance for multi-week sessions, allowing them to build on what they learn each week. The first session for ages 7-11 recently wrapped up, and June's 5-7 year-old session is already full.
Kids Kitchen Club officially launched this spring and is currently in its first year. What started as a love of cooking and working with children grew into an opportunity to teach valuable life skills in an encouraging, hands-on setting. Heather Schuelke, owners favorite part of the classes is watching children's excitement as they learn something new and realize what they are capable of accomplishing on their own.
Families register through links posted on the Kids Kitchen Club Facebook page. Registration is completed through an online form where parents can review class information, complete required forms, and reserve their child's spot.
Because classes are intentionally kept small, registration is first come, first served.
