Nourish: Where Looking Good and Feeling Good Go Hand in Hand
by Elaine Elizabeth · 10/30/2026

At Nourish Beauty & Wellness, Leah Bridgeford brings hair care, wellness coaching, and meaningful connection together, creating space for people to slow down and feel cared for.
A hair appointment can make room for more than a change in appearance. It can offer a conversation, a pause, or a moment of feeling cared for. For Leah Bridgeford, owner of Nourish Beauty & Wellness in Fond du Lac, those experiences are central to the business she wanted to create. After more than 13 years in the beauty industry, she envisioned a space that brought her work behind the chair into closer alignment with her growing passion for wellness. A Hashimoto’s diagnosis in 2024 prompted her to explore her own physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, shaping a more intentional approach to both beauty and business.
Nourish offers customized color, blonding, haircuts, and styling, with an emphasis on products Bridgeford describes as naturally derived and low-tox. Beyond the salon, she offers one-on-one wellness coaching focused on nutrition, mindset, stress management, movement, and sustainable habits. “One of the biggest things I've learned is that wellness isn't one-size-fits-all, and sometimes the smallest changes can make the biggest difference,” she said. Her Nourish to Flourish program extends that approach to salon professionals and teams, supporting self-awareness, communication, personal growth, and more fulfilling work environments.
For Bridgeford, nourishing ourselves also means paying attention to what we feed our minds, the relationships we invest in, and the way we speak to ourselves. She encourages people to step out of autopilot and become curious about their needs and daily choices. That awareness includes recognizing that balance changes with our circumstances. “There are seasons where we have the energy and capacity to give more, and others where we need to slow down, rest, and give ourselves a little more grace,” she said. Her philosophy leaves room for care to look different from one person—and one season—to the next.
The relationships built at Nourish have been among the most rewarding parts of Bridgeford’s experience as a business owner. She values creating a space where guests feel comfortable being themselves and where stylists and providers feel supported in their own growth. Her hope is that people leave feeling a little better, whether through confidence after an appointment, a new perspective, or a moment of connection. “More than anything, I hope Nourish reminds people that taking care of themselves isn't selfish,” she said. In that spirit, finding balance can begin with allowing ourselves to receive the care we so often give to others.
