by Kristin Santini · 7/10/2026

Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts brings Downtown Fond du Lac to life each summer with its free THELMA Thursdays concert series, featuring live music, dancing, and a vibrant community atmosphere. It's the perfect excuse to enjoy local dining, explore downtown, and spend a summer evening listening to great music under the open sky.

There's no better way to spend a summer Thursday evening than enjoying live music in the heart of Downtown Fond du Lac. Hosted by Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts, the popular THELMA Thursdays concert series transforms Sheboygan Street into a lively outdoor venue filled with music, dancing, and community spirit.

Running throughout the summer, the free concert series features an exciting lineup of regional and national performers spanning a variety of musical genres, including Americana, blues, folk, rock, soul, and country. Concerts begin at 7 p.m., with the outdoor bar opening at 6 p.m., creating the perfect atmosphere for an evening with friends and family. Lawn chairs are welcome, and guests are encouraged to dance, relax, and enjoy the vibrant downtown setting.

THELMA Thursdays have become a signature summer tradition, drawing visitors from across the region while supporting local restaurants, shops, and businesses. Before the music begins, attendees can explore Downtown Fond du Lac, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, or browse unique boutiques, making it a complete evening experience.

As the heart of Fond du Lac's Arts and Entertainment District, THELMA continues its mission of bringing people together through accessible arts programming and memorable community events. The concert series showcases not only outstanding musical talent but also the welcoming atmosphere that makes Downtown Fond du Lac a destination throughout the summer.
