One thing that a lot of people don't realize is that you can grab a bite to eat right inside Lakeside Park at the Lighthouse Grill & Sweets. It's located at the Lakeside Park Pavilion, right by the Promen Bridge, making it a perfect stop while you're out walking, biking, fishing, or just enjoying a day at the park.
They're open Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and they have a little bit of everything. You can grab burgers, hot dogs, walking tacos, elote, chips, soda, water, and plenty of other snacks without ever having to leave the park. It's nice not having to pack a lunch or jump back in the car when you're hungry.
If you're spending the day with the kids at the playground, walking along Lake Winnebago, or just relaxing by the water, it's an easy place to stop for lunch, dinner, or a quick snack. It's one of those places that's been there, but a lot of people don't think about until someone points it out.
Next time you're enjoying Lakeside Park, keep the Lighthouse Grill & Sweets in mind. It's a convenient spot to grab something to eat, take a break, and get right back to enjoying one of the best parks in Fond du Lac.
